This year, I’ve joined 19 other fantastic photographers to do a year long journey–the Fifty Two on Friday. You can see last year’s post here.
This week, the theme was Simple. I had the hardest time finding something “simple” to take a photo of. I thought all week long about something that could be considered simple, and all I could think of was another simple picture of Aidan. Instead, I will show you the sweet simple gesture that my husband made for me for Christmas. This little present as simple as it is, means more to me than the things he bought me that cost money (except maybe my ipad, I do so love that haha!). We have a little sign outside with our address on it, and my “girl” person was holding flowers. Well I can’t garden, I can’t get a fake plant to stay alive for me. So my sweet hubby took my girl from our address sign and made me a camera. He welded it himself, painted it, and was just as proud as a kid in shop class. This simple gesture meant more to me than a monetary gift.
