This year, I’ve joined 19 other fantastic photographers to do a year long journey–the Fifty Two on Friday. You can see last week’s post here.
This week our assignment was to photograph a stranger. I’m lame, and used a photo from an actual photoshoot rather than search for strangers–I’m too shy to ask permission to photograph someone on the street. But below, Mrs. E was a gorgeous mommy-to-be model, and artist. It was so wonderful working with her and her sweet husband. They will be welcoming a little girl into their lives in the next short months. They were strangers, but now I’m happy to be part of their lives, sharing the most wonderful gift with them, and documenting it for generations to come.

I just love my little baby planners–there is nothing greater than watching these sweet babies grow up!

Little Faith is the sweetest baby girl ever, and I love photographing her and her sweet family. Her mom took such good care of Aidan while he was in the hospital, I owe her!

How perfectly sweet is this boy?

Wow, this week was HARD! And it didn’t help that I procrastinated until Thursday to get my shot. My family gave me a great idea, on THURSDAY NIGHT but it was too late. But that’s ok, because this little dude was willing to fish for me, to make me an album cover for Trace Adkin’s new song, “Just Fishin’”.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the new mommies I have worked with this year! There is nothing that makes me happier than a first time mommy trusting me with preserving the memory of their perfect new miracle for them to cherish forever!
Below, a quick shot of my miracle, Aidan.
I’ll get back to regular blogging–and I promise that since I’m more than 45 sessions behind–next week!
