Fifty Two on Friday : Light | Fayetteville Stedman Family Children Photographer

This year, I’ve joined 19 other fantastic photographers to do a year long journey–the Fifty Two on Friday.  You can see last week’s post here.

This week the theme is Light.  I chose this family, who was playing as I got ready to take the next set of shots for their family sessions.  I love the sunset light in this field, it makes everything look so hazy beautiful!

Now head on over to Jasmine Sargent | Hazen MD Children’s Photographer to see her take on Light!

Spring Mini Sessions | Fayetteville Stedman NC Family Children Photographer

Spring mini session time is  here!  This year I’m using the yellow wildflower pasture as the background for the photos.  I do mini sessions only two times per year – and actually due to the predicted October arrival of Peanut Small #2 I may not be able to do Christmas Minis this year–so if you are interested in having some family photos taken at more than 50% off the cost of a full session, now’s your chance!  I only have 4 more available times, so act fast!  You can email me at information@carriesmallphotography.com for more information.

And just to give you an idea of how gorgeous the pasture is right now, this is where your photos will be taken…

Fifty Two on Friday : Pastel | Fayetteville NC Baby Photographer

This year, I’ve joined 19 other fantastic photographers to do a year long journey–the Fifty Two on Friday.  You can see last week’s post here.

This week, the theme is Pastel.  This little girl, with her pastel blue eyes and sweet pastel colors, was the first thing I thought of.  She was a dream to photograph, and her mommy was the lucky winner of Christmas time’s free session!  How lucky am I to get to photograph such a sweet beautiful pastel baby girl?

Hello from Disney! | Fayetteville NC Children Photographer

Yep, I’m on vacation right now–the first I’ve had in over a year!  We are in Orlando, spoiling Aidan I am sure, with family!  I can’t wait to share all the photos that I am undoubtedly taking right now when I get back!  For now, enjoy your week everyone, and I’ll be sure to answer all emails and inquiries as soon as I get home!

And what’s a blog post without a photo?

And here’s one of the new Small addition.  I feel aweful calling Baby Small an it, so we just call it Peanut for now.  Peanut was doing acrobatics during the sonogram, so I’m already knowing I’m going to have my hands full with another hyperactive child.  Peanut’s enjoying Disney too, eating lots of good junk food I’m sure.

Tatianna | Fayetteville NC Maternity Photographer

I can’t wait to share baby Cecelia’s photos–she was without a doubt one of the most gorgeous newborns ever–but before I do that, I better go ahead and share the lovely mommy’s photos first.  This family is a dream to work with, and I enjoyed every moment.  How fair is it for Tatianna to look so gorgeous just weeks before she delivered baby Cece?   This was one of my favorite maternity sessions to date–I love when I can capture the excitement of not only the mom-to-be, but the siblings as well.

Fifty Two on Friday – Texture | Stedman NC Fayetteville NC Photographer

This year, I’ve joined 19 other fantastic photographers to do a year long journey–the Fifty Two on Friday.  You can see last week’s post here.

This week the theme was texture.  This week has been a super busy week for me–we are packing and trying to get ready to go on a week-long-vacation to Walt Disney World.  Aidan is ecstatic!  He doesn’t really know what’s in store for him yet.  I know that I am going to need my walking shoes and a vacation from my vacation when I get home.  So due to this, I’m pulling an old photo for texture.  I love the texture of mimosa flowers!

Now head on over to Shannon Harrison | Jack & Ruby Studios | Temecula Photographer to see her take on texture!
