Can you believe this shot was taken when she was a year old? She was so very sleepy that when I was putting her pajamas on, we were posing her on the changing table. So then I thought I’d take her up to the studio–and she stayed asleep! So I undressed her…and she was an angel. This is my very favorite shot of 2012, actually my favorite shot I have ever taken.

I had all intentions of posting a Top 12 of 2012 but I ended up loving so many newborn photos this year. Here are a few of my favorites, I narrowed it down the best I could. If you are interested in having your newborn’s photos made for 2013 please be sure to contact me in advance. I am already scheduling babies due in the summer of 2013 and I only photograph one newborn per week.

Every now and then, I get to meet a curious little baby, who doesn’t want to miss anything going on in the studio! But even when they aren’t so sleepy, they are too cute.

Sweet baby Luke–he was so perfect! Not often I get a baby who sleeps so well–and he had 3 older brothers who were just as awesome!
August was a rough month for me–I had a surgery that kept me out of work for the whole month, but that didn’t stop me from photographing my princess as often as I could. She has changed so much this month, and really come out of her shell.
